‘Al je werk heeft een bepaalde eigenaardigheid.’
‘All your work has a kind of singularity’.
-quote: member of the jury-
De tijd is weer gevlogen, juni leek dit jaar direct na januari te komen. Tijd om voor de tweede keer beoordeeld te worden door de ‘opleidingsjury’.
Loop even mee...
Time flew, and June came right after January this year. Time to be judged by the ‘school jury’, for the second time.
Walk with me...
Fundamenteel Onderzoek Vlak
Fundamental Research 2D
Leertraject:
van schilderen in zwart-wit naar schilderen in kleur met acryl. Grote boze verf in vergelijking met mijn geliefde, aimabele en zeer elegante aquarel.
Learning route:
from painting in black and white to painting in color. With acrylic paint. Big bad paint in resembling with my beloved, pleasant and most elegant aquarelle.

Painted with only black and white paint on a middlegrey fond. Original: The Goose guardian by Emile Claus. In my painting I've lost a few of the original geese and it appears to be in the evening instead of early morning.
It is somewhat melancholy.

Origineel: Italiaans landschap van Herman van Swanevelt.
Painted with ultramarijn and burned ombre, mixed and made warm and cold grey.
Original: Italian landscape by Herman van Swanevelt.
Coloursquare: white, ultramarijn and burned ombre.
(And no, it's not perfect. Yet.)

My driveway in the sunlight, what are the shadows like.
Pastry in the dark, shadows & colours.
En uiteindelijk: een gek gebakje in het licht. Schaduwen, licht, kleuren, zien en schilderen!
And finally: funny pastry in the light. Shadows, light, colours, see and paint!
And now I think (wishfully), acrylic paint and I:
‘the beginning of a beautiful friendship?’
